This vintage sewing kit was issued to U.S. soldiers during World War II. It contains many of the necessary tools for making repairs to uniforms and equipment in the field. The kit is an original piece from that period and would make a great addition to any militaria collection. It is in really nice condition for its age and has a snap button clasp to ensure a tight grip on any materials put inside. Has R.B.F. labeled on it but unsure of its meaning. The kit contains scissors, thread, buttons, needles and pins. The dimensions are approximately (2 3/4" x 5") closed, (8" x 5") opened.
