A really nice and slightly scarce collector's item vintage cap I am fairly sure is second World War. NOS ("New, Old Surplus"). Only imperfection will come out with an iron, being that over the years a bit of it got slightly folded over as in a pleat and you can see that in the scans. It should come right out, for the most part I don't fiddle with things like this. Artillery piping and size of 7 3/8 make this a very desirable collector's item, once you get past seven every size up is in a little less supply especially new. No moth nips, no age spots, if you ask my personal "pick" of best opportunity among our current cap sales I have to say this one.
