From a smoke free home, I am not sure on the age of this but there is a sticker on the bottom that says made in India and it appears to be wooden with an embossed brass type foil. I have added pictures with the dimensions. The inside is clean, the foil covering does make a sound when you rub on it like it is not pulled and fastened as tight as it could be. Nice old vintage piece that kind of has the look of a treasure chest. I do not know the history on it but will try to answer any questions you need if the pictures do not cover the information needed.
