8 track player is untested but the 1 through 4 lights work intermittently. There does not seem to be a pattern. The battery compartment is fairly clean except in one area where there is some rust. I tried 8 D batteries and was not able to get the device to work, so it only works when it is plugged in. Scratches and scuffs are present but overall really nice condition. The radio works great, both AM and FM. Please watch video included in this listing.
