He is now better known for his science fiction and horror stories (he's a Bram Stoker Award finalist). Spencer signed and inscribed this copy on the title page. The book is in excellent shape, with just minor corner wear and moderate page toning. The jacket has light creases on the flaps, slight rubbing and a bit of wear on the folds. A nice copy of a collectible signed first.
