The top turning portion has come unglued from the base portion, and that will need to be repaired. The diameter of the metal is 8.25", and the base of the rack that would mount inside the cupboard is 6" square at the base and 5" square at the top, where the turning portion is supposed to be attached. It is a nice vintage hanging mug rack, and with some light repairs, would be a very nice functional piece.
