Descripción del Artículo

WWI, LIBERTY LOAN PATCH, 104th FIELD ARTILLERY, 89th DIVISION, BEVO WEAVE VINTAGE, ORIGINAL These WWI Liberty Loan patches are well over 100 years old now. The Liberty Loan patches that we are offering originate from an established collection and are unused, mint condition. Liberty Loan patches were issued by the United States Treasury Department during World War I to promote the sale of Liberty Bonds. These bonds were a way for the government to raise money to finance the war effort. The patches were typically worn on civilian clothing and were a way for people to show their support for the war. The whole set has just about every unit that existed and is a great representation of the units that existed. One of the promotions used by the Liberty Loan Committee was to sell or give in response to a donation, shoulder patches of the AEF. These shoulder patches are commonly referred to as Liberty Loans Patches.
