It is a corner protector part, part # CB002920 which I believe is used with some type of Yamaha guitar or bass amplifier, and possibly other units as well. I'm not 100% sure which particular instrument it's used for, but you may see that it fits your unit. It is slightly more than 2 and 1/4" inches long, and there are 2 holes for screws on the longer side of it. Some similar ones I had before were for a guitar amp, and the buyer was very happy to get them, as corner protectors get beat up over time.
