This Antique Chinese Treasure Trunk is handmade in elegant Ming style furniture. The trunk was originally made for storage of Gold or silver bars and coins for wealthy family before paper money used in China. The trunk is four-sided and in excellent condition from all sides. There are three panels on top of the trunk used for opening. The trunk is handcrafted and structured with wooden pegs and tenon structure, which is the very traditional craftsmanship for furniture making in ancient China. Original patina and wear.
